The Balvenie 12 Year Old Montilla Cask whisky is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, part of The Balvenie's "A Collection of Curious Casks" range. Created by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie, it is matured for 12 years in European oak butts that were seasoned with sweet wine from Montilla, Spain, resulting in notes of candied sweetness, dried apricot, vanilla, and honey-like richness.
