Aberfeldy 31 Year Old, Connoisseurs Choice G&M, Single Malt Whisky, 70cl

Here we have a 31 year old Aberfeldy single malt whisky. Bottled as part of Gordon and Macphails Connoisseurs Choise range. Bottled at 60% with an outrun of only 530 bottles. 

Known for its thick, almost waxy and floral spirit. Aberfeldy whisky is mainly aged in bourbon casks and used for Dewars blending. However its style would more traditionally be used with sherry casks.

Aberfeldy whisky distillery is owned by Dewars. The character is nutty (slightly sulphury at new make stage), with quick mashing, short fermentation and cold condensers.
